In the Wine User Guide: "4.7. Setting Windows/DOS environment variables" (link

The guide says to go to the

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Environment

key. It seems this key is now located at the following place in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Environment
