[Bug 2398] OpenGL is only used on top level windows so child windows get overdrawn

I can confirm that that d3d in a child window also now draws in the correct
position (or almost - see below). I do also get the
"rest-of-window-overdrawn-by-black problem" as described above. I am using the
NVidia drivers.

I'm not altogether sure that the d3d area is in exactly the correct place. When
I use an app that allows you to place a point on the 3D scene the point does
not appear in the place where you click as it does in Windows. In the attached
screenshot when I click a point at the origin of the three axes, it instead
appears to place the point at the location shown. As you can see this is drawn
slightly below and to the left of where it should be. This may be an unrelated
bug with d3d.
