Well no sident required to get that far. All you need is:
borrow these dlls: atl71.dll mfc42.dll msvbvm60.dll msvcr71.dll.

touch ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/wsock32.dll

Import this into registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer]
"Version"="6.0.2800.1106"

Log before the error is attached.
