Ben, this was known bug with a known hack to workaround it.  I've used this hack
in Diablo1 and after DDraw rewrite I tried to "port" it: [1].

You can apply the hack and see if it helps Worms to draw itself well.  I guess
that report is a duplicate of bug 4009, [2] anyway.
