Wine has its own version of MSI. You should not need to be using the Microsoft
version. Wine 9.1 is not really current but I see from the download section that
this is the most current package that is available for Solarus. Perhaps you can
compile it yourself.

You could also contact Robert Lunnon solaris.wine at optusnet.com.au the author of
the Solarus packages and see if he is willing to update them.
