I can confirm that this bug exist in BG2 and IWD2 games, and  (IIRC) in 
Planescape Torment (all these games are using Infinity Engine).

Tested gfx:
Nvidia GeForce 2MX
NVIDIA GeForce 4MX
Intel i915M on Dell Latitude D510
