I have similar problem with Internet Explorer 6. It works fine but when I open a
new window and switch back to original one in window manager, the application
stops responding and redrawing and Wine prints following message:

X11DRV_CritSection" wait timed out in thread 0009, blocked by 0012, retrying (60
sec)

After that timeout:

starting debugger...
WineDbg starting on pid 0x8
Unhandled exception: wait failed on critical section 0x607e61e0

Process of pid=0x00000008 has terminated

... and starts wine-dbg which exits immediatelly. It works fine with previous
Wine (0.9.22).
