Ehh. A great advice - "build from source" when the very last line of my report
states that
"Building from source doesn't work either, so I'm stuck with this version.". To
build from source I'd need extra packages, and when I try installing them they
also want most of my system deleted.

Either way I'm falling back to WinXP as soon as I finish backing up my data, so
this will not be a problem anymore. [closed]
