[Xnews works quite well under wine, however, inline jpg images fail.
To repeat, connect to an nntp server, e.g. free.yottanews.com,
and read some newsgroup where people post pictures.
Here are some screenshots of Xnews running in Windows XP:
This one shows a newsgroup with an article highlighted that contains a 
jpg image that I would like to see.
