The problem is that my license won't work with the 2006 Version.
I think I had it somewhere but it won't change much because the only difference
between 2006 (version 6.5) and version 2007 (8.00) is the only support for
Vista. The software had not changed much. The biggest difference would be from
version 7 (before SDL bought Trados and merged Trados and SDLX in one package).

>From the point of view of Tag Editor tagging documents before loading them, it
doesn't make a difference.

NET.1 seemed to get a bit better but I didn't have the change to experience it
much with it.

It seemed that .NET is not the problem, but Visual studio
2005 - incidentally I am mixing a bunch of not supported software for which a
lot of people would dream of installing them on their own (I read some comments
on Visual Studio .NET v. 2005 from people "able" to program in Linux and would
love to solve the problem with it - maybe they could help if my installation
procedure could get them further).
