I would like to add that I think this problem is audio-related.
When using the DLL overrides as described in:

http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=3000
that is the following dlls: 

dmband.dll, dmime.dll, dmloader.dll, dmstyle.dll, dmsynth.dll,
dmusic.dll and dmcompos.dll

Everything seems to work fine.
