The bug is in the nvidia driver and is fixed in 1.0.9631.
Update your drivers and the problem should be solved.

$sudo dpkg -i nvidia-kernel-source_1.0.9631-1_i386.deb
$sudo reboot

i386 can be replaced with amd64 if needed ;)
