Grand Theft Auto Vice City actually has quite of some graphic problems with
WINE, here's the listing:

* Some textures are just black or not detailed
* Cut scenes are very slow to render, possibly because the sound problems ( see
the bug #7074 )
* The sun is not usually working, at least not properly. There might be darkness
in the middle of day.

Using the native dinput.dll and dinput8.dll won't do any good.

The git is 2006-12-31 and I'll be compiling a recent version shortly. I just
doubt it makes any difference.
