This affects quite a few games hence the title. I thought this had been filed
previously but neither me nor the others in IRC could find it so I'm filing this.

Basically some games that should be running in fullscreen mode end up in what
looks like their own windowed mode when they should be fullscreen. I've seen
this happen on a few games but can't remember the others at the moment. Using
virtual desktop lets them run "fullscreen" inside that, but if you try and run
fullscreen normally you just get them in a fullscreen-sized window (and thus you
lose some of the display due to window manager bars being in the way).
