Very reduced available fonts list

The accents are still ok, but now I can only select less than half of the fonts
I have installed... Wingdings 1, 2 & 3, for example, cannot be selected. The
list of available fonts for me now is:

AlBattar (not sure where I got this one)
Apple Garamond (I have Apple Garamond Light, too, by the way)
Arial (I also have Narrow, Black and Rounded)
Calibri
Candara
Comic Sans MS
Consolas
Constantia
Corbel
Default Monospace
Justinian
Pristina
Default Sans Serif
Segoe Print
Segoe Script
Segoe UI
Default Serif
Small Fonts
System
Times New Roman
Trebuchet MS
Default Various Languages
Zekton

Then I copied all my font files (both from fonts:/Personal and fonts:/System)
over to $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/windows/fonts, but the list grew by one: WP
MultinationalA Helve (well, if I ever need a LATIN CAPITAL LETTER N WITH
MACRON, I know where to look...)
