[Bug 7455] ViaVoice fails to save training data

Tried:
 wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
 sh winetricks dcom98
This did not work, and seemed to slow down training. However, eliminated many error messages. 
Error messages now as follows, preceeding stack dump.
