I can confirm that.

I've installed MS Office 2003 Professional successfully with wine-0.9.37 in a
0.9.48-created ~/.wine directory (because the install process wasn't successful
with the latest version of wine). Then I switched to 0.9.48 again to run it,
and got the same "not enough memory dialog".
