Hello,

well it's actually the pkg-config tool screwing up here.
It seems mono ships a native windows port of this.
Though I wonder about the source ... I didn't find any in mono repository
(tools).

They use either a stock one from http://pkgconfig.freedesktop.org/wiki/ or have
a private development tree for such stuff.
The binary signatures looks like mingw gcc 3.x
