By today's commit of stefan's doesinger patch (
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2007-November/038018.html ) this is
fixed. 3dmark2001 now runs fine again for me ( uuhh, that is, ATI's newest
driver still has lots of issues and seems quite unstable, but this particular
bug has been fixed)
