yep, and that's what I was afraid of.  It may have hit 4.0GB before the error
was traced, and I'm not sure what the behavior of the system is when it hits
the file system limit.  Does it wrap around and start overwriting the dta at
the begining of the file or just stop appending?  But I'll see what I can come
up with :)
