Ok, ive tried all the threading models, and several other combinations of
options and i either get a black screen (with music) or a segfault.

Also, no change using 0.9.46.

Ive tried the d3d approach, using the 92k d3da.d11, not the 132k one which i
was using before (got it from http://machf.tripod.com/NFS/nfshs.htm)  This got
as far as chaning the screen res, but crashed soon after (before the music
start playing).

Is this solely because i use intel hardware/drivers?  Have others had success
with non-nvidia cards?
