What I've got after some testing:
- Wine 0.9.33 from the Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty repositories - works without
hangings, but slower than with Wine >=0.9.39;
- Wine versions 0.9.35 .. 0.9.38 from
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/index.html - hangs on start connecting
to oracle database (in debug mode "oracle error ORA-12571: TNS:packet writer
failure" popup message appears) and the application doesn't work (??!);
- Wine versions 0.9.39 .. 0.9.47 from
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/index.html - works fine except already
mentioned hanging on update LOB data if data size more than ~10 KBytes.
