I found it crashes out at the avatar makeover confirmation.  The following
output is repeatedly spewing from Wine while the avatar screen is displaying:

fixme:d3d_draw:drawStridedFast >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY (0x505) from
glDrawElements @ drawprim.c / 247

Then it stops when the "next" button is clicked. After which Eve vanishes.
