oops I must have pressed submit when trying to attach the 2nd attachment. The
windows error is a General protection fault:

History: UOpenGLRenderDevice::Flush <- UOpenGLRenderDevice::Init
<- UWindowsViewport::TryRenderDevice <-
UWindowsViewport::OpenWindow <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine


I have tryed this on computers with an Ati x300 and a nvidia 7800gt. I have
seen the same results since wine-0.9.56 to the current 0.9.59. The OS is Gentoo
32bit for the ati card and Gentoo 64bit for the nvidia card.

The version of the game is 1.1

There is a demo here http://downloads.gamezone.com/demos/d1297.htm
but I have never used it. Since I own the game I could send the original CD's
to any dev that wanted to take a look if needed.
