Are you sure you used the same configuration. It looks like that on your first
log, you used winxp as setting and in the second win2000.

These lines:

fixme:shell:URL_ParseUrl failed to parse...

in mass are especially when you use the howto of a manual .NET installation
(which had been originally for win2000) without changing the default
configuration of Wine which is now for XP.

The added file (which you take for ending the .NET installation on win2000) is
not needed on XP but is creating many of these fixme.
