Here's a screenshot of what the Acrobat clipboard viewer looks like in Windows.

I had an unexpected and rather bizarre experience taking the screenshot --
hitting Alt-PrtScrn repeatedly caused the captured image to be recursively (and
immediately) pasted into Acrobat Pro's clipboard.

Uneducated guess -- Acrobat Pro 6 is working directly with the Windows
clipboard. It's the only thing I can think of that would explain this odd
behaviour.
