Added link to Demo. 

The demo displays the same corrupted borders. Please follow the installation
instructions provided for EU3 NA 2.2 in the appdb.
One change for the demo, you have to turn off all sound in winecfg. I.E neither
ALSA, OSS nor NAS can be selected. If they do, the demo hangs on "Loading
Sounds."
