MCIAVI_mciPlay() calls MCIAVI_mciPlay_async(), which starts another thread and
runs MCIAVI_mciPlay_thread(), which calls MCIAVI_mciPlay() again.

If I comment out the call to MCIAVI_mciPlay_async(), then the movie plays, with
the audio going at the normal rate and video going about 4X as fast.
