Just for the record, the above message is (somewhat) normal, I get this
situation on windows XP with nvidia drivers. That's why I added it to the test.
It is not related to the crash.

The crash, I suspect, is related to anything else than ALLFACES flag hitting
some fatal bug in ati driver.
