I'm now running Wine 1.1.9, and have started playing the game again. It had the
same problem once more, but then I haven't seen it since -- it appears to be a
sporadic thing, perhaps related to other things going on in the background
while I play. In the meantime, I have no clue as to how to proceed in finding
where the bug comes from or what triggers it. I'm just not that savvy. Sorry!
