I'm not sure if this will make it into Wine though as Alexandre had the
following comments about this patch:
 * He would prefer it if we played our little thread games only on the first
call to create_thread()
 * But he also says that we should really allocate the stack ourselves,
especially as it is something we will need to do anyway for the OpenGL memory
allocation issue (bug 13335).

So I will see how to progress further.
