I used windows comctl32.dll, problem STILL exists.

Also the font used in that portion of the application is "System".  As I said,
font-link probably won't work in this case.

Only if the program shows little square for all characters, font link works
well -- this is my experience only. If you have
better way or correct way to do font-link please let me know. thanks.
