Tried it again just now on a Core2 Duo T7700 CPU.
Here it doesn't seem sluggish (no surprise).
It seems to lock up now a few seconds after you log in.
You can still browser for chatrooms, but you have
to do it real quick after login to do it before
it locks up.

The lockup seems new, not sure what's causing it.
Does it lock up for you?  i.e. if you cover it and
uncover it, does it redraw?
