I think that this bug is related to bug#: 16317 that should be fixed in wine
1.1.11 but I also get this error when trying to install A Vampyre Story demo.

Using Ubuntu 8.10 and wine built from git repository on 28.12.

The files Disk*.cab are all in the same directory on a CD.

This is the output of WINEDEBUG from a few lines before it starts cycling and a
