I decided to get things serious and thorough so I tested the mic in all
possible ways, (ALSA, OSS in all emulation modes with 'driver emulation'
on/off) propably about 20 of them and none of which seem to work, in the
microphone test what I hear is extremely choppy and harshy, still can't make
out any words, just strange noises and people in-game hear exactly the same
things. Finally, I own an SB Live 24-bit and the microphone works perfectly in
non-Wine applications.
