Invalid... nope.

"Personally I think that your problem is a driver bug." A driver bug that
miraculously appears without changing the driver... DOH! (notice the only
upgrades are wine/wow)

It turns out that is (probably) in fact a wine BUG. Enabling Character shadows
causes the characters to return to normal when in an instance or indoors. I
would think that this would be totally the opposite behavior as having the
character shadows should increase the demand on the system (more ram to hold
shadow textures?) not decrease the demand... 

Could this be fixed? I am fully able to recreate this on my hardware (over and
over again). I would like to run without character shadows as it should
increase my frame rate (ever so slightly mind you) on this under powered
machine. I would be happy to provide further information on request.
