Those numbers are unreasonable.  Now the trick is to find out where
they came from.  +relay,+x11drv,+synchronous might help here.  Sometimes one
has
to add special TRACE statements just for the hunt.

(And I suppose some people use debuggers for this, but that's not my cup of
tea.)
