Perhaps the patch could be rewritten using
an exception handler, a la
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2004-November/013791.html ?
Aha, Alexandre suggested the same thing here:
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2006-April/046560.html
Somebody tried to resubmit that patch in Feb 2007, but didn't
follow that advice:
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2007-February/036060.html
http://winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2007-February/054248.html
This is a longstanding issue with a patch and a clear suggestion from
Alexandre, so nominating for 1.0.
BTW, it seems to me that telling people to get
Adobe to fix their software is unhelpful
because Adobe is unlikely to comply.
If Adobe apps run on Windows, they ought to run on Wine.
