That's the problem.

The official demo is only available upon registration and last version is not
installing. You need build 820 not 826, an older version.
It is then necessary to contact SDL to register and they add the link to it
under your login.

Most of Trados user won't get that far as me because they have build 826, more
or less the same of 2007 SP1 and build 820 is more or less an advanced version
of 2006 which was offered to the early buyers as they were eagerly waiting for
the 2007 release.
