In my opinion using ssh from another computer to kill not responding X is too
much. There is much simpler and cleaner way. Try Alt+SysRq+K. This should kill
everything in current console including X (even if it doesn't respond anymore).
If this doesn't work then you can be sure that you triggered severe driver bug
because this SysRq sequence talks to the kernel directly. And if it doesn't
work, there was either driver or hardware severe failure - both unrelated to
Wine; in other words, if this proves to be a driver issue this bug should be
marked as INVALID.
