I had same behaviour with Lotus Notes, last working version of wine was for me
0.9.56 after that the problem persist in all wine version after this. I run
regression test with following result :

I run openSUSE 10.3 x86_64 with KDE 3.5.9, wine version are either from
openSUSE build service or self complied (make no difference in behaviour).
Notes version I run is 8.0.1, but window behaviour is the same with 7.0.2 or
6.5.6.

Hopefully it will be fixed in wine 1.0 final.
