I am using Wine 1.0-rc2 with Absolute Linux 12.1 (Slackware 12.1) on a
PentiumII 300MHz.
I installed the Velleman PCS500 Digital PC Oscilloscope that uses the parallel
port but when I start the application it says that it can not find the parallel
port so it runs only in demo mode.

According to:
http://www.lafraze.net/nbernard/doc/misc_tips/velleman.html
it could be done configuring old versions of Wine but ./wine/config is not
there any longer when using the recent versions of Wine.

Can it be done that Wine 1.0 will be able to detect the parallel port?
