Actually I have only seen a somewhat similar glitch once (0x0x0 in video
settings), and it haven't repeated any more since then, during quite extensive
testing I did when fixing other bugs. I don't know if some patch unknowingly
fixed this or what. I can't rule out the possibility that I did something wrong
myself that one time, like maybe used a wrong prefix. Also, afaik there isn't
even a way to properly install the game currently in Wine, as installation cd
check depends on the windows feature seeing cd-audio tracks as wav files. I
used game installed in real windows and who knows what strange issues this may
cause.

Anyway, it seems to run good now, resolution choices are properly offered and
remembered between game sessions etc. So maybe for now it should be closed as
WORKSFORME or whatever is most appropriate.
