  This is a major problem. The game worked before and now it has numerous
problems all related to the newer wine version. How can this be any better if
it introduces problems which were not there before. Also, I am only discussing
one game, I use the others as reference to show that I can and do have other
games working with the newer version.
  NO, I use alsa sound system for all my normal sound stuff and use KDE sounds
as the backup, if alsa doesn't work.
  As a programmer and technician, I would appreciate any information regarding
any problems that occur in a new release that were not there before. This tends
to show that some changes were not beneficial to the updated code. And gives a
reference to the working code, so that it can be compared for differences.
This is what bug reports are for. To help fix the problems.
