Kathi,  thanks for the info.  If you can file a new bug with the above info
that would be great.  This bug is long enough as it is and is going to focus on
issues with sai. 

Kathi, if you can in addition to the info above,  also attach the output of
(when run from a terminal) 
xsetpointer -l 
and 
xidump -l
and a debug log for pixia when run in wine from a terminal:
WINEDEBUG="+wintab32" wine pathtopixia.exe

where pathtopixia is the actual program path.
