this screenshot is taken with wine-0.9.13. The crash comes from the fact that
some environmentvariables are not set in those old wine-versions. You could do
something like:

export ALLUSERSPROFILE="c:\\"
export USERPROFILE="c:\\"

For one version off ableton also APPDATA needed to be set. Anyway, as you can
see the registration window worked fine in that ols wine-version
