I imagine all XUbunutu users are having this problem which is why I'm surprised
at the severity rating at LOW??? Anyway until such time as this bug is fixed
here is a temporary solution that you will need to do every time wine updates.
A simple but inperfect solution:

sudo mousepad /usr/share/applications/wine-browsedrive.desktop

change line:

Code:

Exec=xdg-open ~/.wine/drive_c

to

Code:

Exec=xdg-open /home/your_user_name/.wine/drive_c


Wait about one minute for changes to take effect.

Don't forget to change your_user_name to your user name
