patch from bug #9670

Hi, this is partially a duplicate: 

problem in comctl32 solved by attached patch from bug #9670.
After that it hits an unimplemented fundtion in gdiplus. So for now let's make
this bug for the gdiplus bug.

Using native gdiplus + attached patch the app starts fine here
