So is Luis's patch headed towards upstream or do we have to wait for something

I'd like to know it too... It seems to me that Louis patch is correct and can't
cause regressions, so I guess it could be applied.

There's also another problem preventing correct install :
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13838
I made a patch for it, but it should be tested on windows for correctness,
which I can't.... any volunteer ? :-)
Last but not least.... we still need native shlwapi.dll to show "register now"
dialog; after that one autocad 2005 could gain status of platinum, imho.
