Perhaps I didn't run into bug 10368 because I'm a Wine newbie and simply do not
recognise the 'description' of that bug as a 'description' of anything at all.  

The description of the bug 11404, which has been dismissed as a duplicate of
10368, is a shade more comprehensible and recognisable.

For a very long time, like a year at least, I thought I had bug 11298 or 4756
and waited patiently for Wine 1.0.  Now it is here, I re-read what was written
in AppDB about WordPerfect Office X3 and naviely thought that a) everyone who
is anyone was born knowing that you look for hidden checkboxes and b) it wasn't
the kind of thing that gets fixed in Wine.

I now know better.  Perhaps this bug report will serve as a useful test case
for the resolution of bug 709 when it is released.

Oh, and if the workaround everyone uses for WordPerfect Office X3 also works
for Corel Draw X3, then please pass the information along.
